We went to Austin and learned...

Waco is in the middle of no where and a boring place to stop for a break while daddy is working
But it's ok because swings make everything better.
You've not had pizza until you've eaten at Rapollizes one 6th street!
The state capital building is big, pretty and kind of boring.
If you're two and stand on the banister you will scare a little old lady enough that she stares down your mommy until mommy shouts be careful my little darlings.
There may be ghosts in the capital building as is apparent in Siena's eyes.
Siena discovered what a good ball her big brother is.

We may have famous rodeo stars not only on mommy's side of the family ( Texas Rose Bascom is my aunt) but daddy's too.
Houston was the first word uttered on the moon.
Siena loves to push elevator buttons
In Texas everything is bigger and better. Even the stars.
Frozen custard is AWESOME! (We'd never had it before)
Daddy does a lot of public speaking, is great at it and known by his peers as a Rockstar
Roof top pools are AWESOME!

Mommy sends texts to daddy with pictures rather than words
Siena and Izzy can actually share

Izzy is more like daddy than we thought
Friendships really can last forever! (This is Bryan Ripa. He and Lee have been friends since middle school)
And it's possible to buy donuts bigger than your head.

That's a lot to learn in one trip! But it was a blast. Can't wait to do it again next year!
