Spencers Birthday Party

Spencer has never really had a birthday party, well other than his first birthday. So we thought it would be nice to let him have one this year. We decided to have a little BBQ and he asked if he could have a Luigi Party. He is obsessed with anything Luigi, which trust me is difficult to find. I made some Luigi Party Invites, A Luigi Birthday Banner, Luigi Party Bags, and covers for the pop bottles which were Luigi. Plus Lee drew a big Luigi and we played, amonst other games, pin the mustache on Luigi.

He asked for Strawberry and chocolate cakes and so I made cupcakes which are so much easier to give out. Plus I enjoy making cupcakes more than cake :)




When I asked Spencer who he wanted to invite he only said 4 people, Amber, Jack and Charlie (from School) and his sister Kaylee. Besides those four we also invited; His Cousins, Faith and Lewis, Two friends from down the road, Theo and Tailia, and two friends from church, Beth and Noah who brought their little cousin Mollie too. In the end we had 11 children and their parents. It was a house full but we LOVED it.

At the end of the party Spencer came up to me and said Mommy that was one FANTAASTIC PARTY. Which made me one very happy mommy. Especially because everything I do is to make the children happy!

Beth and Mollie - Quick Story Beth's mom (Ashley) was telling us how on the way over to the party the girls were fighting over which one gets to marry Spencer. Hint hint to 21 year old return missionary Spencer, I would be happy with either! ;)
