First week of School Holidays

We have had a pretty fun week this week. Well I think we have. I would hope the kids agree. On Tuesday afternoon the kids had a friend over to play for a couple of hours. They played in and outside, decorated cakes, drew pictures and just had fun in General.

Wednesday they had more friends over from the ward and had a great time. I love when they have friends over because they run off and play for hours while I can just chill doing nothing. It was a lot of fun. In the evening Lee had promised them we would go to Toys R Us because Kaylee had been saving her allowance for months and had £30 which was burning a hole in her pocket. She still has £6.00 left. But it was loads of fun. We spent 2 hours walking around Toys R Us. At one point I looked down the isle and saw Spencer and Lee playing Dinosaurs. It was really funny.

Last night, Thursday we took the kids to see Toy Story 3. It only just came out here on Monday night. We didnt dare take Spencer to the 3D one because we were afraid he might get a litle scared if it looked like things were coming out at him. It was a really good show but I will say at one point even Kaylee was a bit scared and on the edge of her seat. We took them to the later showing (7:00 pm) so we didnt get out until after 9 but they loved being able to stay up a little bit late.

This morning I had a hospital appt so Lee took the kids back to their favorit park around the corner from the hospital. They took their kites with them so they can fly them there. They were out there for about an hour and had loads of fun. Everything went well at the hospital saying that it was just an appointment with the nurse. My next big appt is on Tuesday. The nurse said they will likely give me an exact date then for delivery. Tonight we have a ward activity. An Irish night. I am not really sure what an Irish night will entail but I am sure it will be really fun and if nothing else it gives us and the kids something to look forward to.

We dont have anything planned yet for tomorrow but... Lee and I are having a date night. YAY!! I dont remember the last time the two of us went out anywhere. We have decided that since the baby is going to be born in 3 weeks we had better get a few bits for her. We have bought nothing. We have all the big stuff we need, like a bassinet, we are getting a stroller and car seat tomorrow which I bought off Ebay. But we need little things like soaps, A few new clothes for her, you know all the little things you buy for a baby. And then we are going to go to dinner at this place I found on google. It is an American 50's Restaurant. Here is a link. It looks so awesome!! I totally cant wait. We were going to go to the movies but decided we would wait until next week so we can see Knight and Day. We both really fancy that movie.

Well that is the first week of our school Holiday. Only 5 weeks left and only 3 weeks until the baby is born. We are not going on any type of vacation this year for obvious reasons. Instead we are trying to do loads of little things at home. I cant be to far away from the hospital at any one time. But that is ok. Our kiddies dont seem to mind to much!!
