Spencer has been waking up extremly early (4:50 today) And shouting out Mario Kart. See he is completely addicted to the game. And for some reason the moment his eyes open at any time in the night he starts shouting for it and will not go back to sleep. This morning I tried putting him in bed with me, leaving him in his bed and even holding him on a chair in his room but none of them seemed to work. By about 9 am he was completely exhausted but unfortunately for him I had friends over and so of course he didnt want to sleep he wanted to play with my friends children. Anyway they all left at about 12:30ish and I needed to get some food shopping done so we went to the store. While pushing him around his head started to bob. I walked around with his head on me for a while but it was difficult to actually get any shopping so then I laid his head down on the handle of the cart and he didnt move the rest of the time we were there. I have to say this was probably the best shopping trip he and I have had for a long time. When we left the shop neither of us was upset because we didnt get what we wanted (meaning him a Kinder Egg and me a happy child) I totally recommend this shopping to everyone. Now if only I can figure out how I actually did it myself!

so the secret is to wake my kids up at 4:30 in the morning right? umm no. but i am jealous. i would have hung out in the store forever or at least until he woke up. i mean how often do you get to go shopping without kids screaming at you? it must have been a happy moment.
It's funny how kids fight sleep and as an adult I would give anything for a nap sometimes! :) Cute pic!!!
This is such a great picture! I wish my kids would do this. It would make shopping so much easier!! But 4:50 in the morning?!??! Poor you!
