Southport Beach

On Friday we had a busy day. Firstly I will blog about Southport. Lee had the day off and the weather was beautiful so we decided to go on out to Southport Beach. I had never been there before but everyone says it is the nicest beach even though the water is really far away from the shore. They were right. Before we left we checked the times for High Tide and made sure to arive just about this time. It was perfect the water was almost up to the car. But about 1/2 an hour later the water was already rolling out. Just before we left Kaylee said I want to go to the water again. I looked at her and said it is a long walk and she said I dont care. So we went. It was about a 2 mile walk to the water and then another 2 miles back. But it was fun. On the way out there her and I looked for loads of seashells. It took us about an hour to walk out and back. Of course that is with some play time in the water. While we were all the way out there you could actually see Blackpool Tower and the big rollr coaster at blackpool. It is amazing how close these two beaches actually are to each other. Anyway, we had a lovely time. I am so glad that we went. It was a blast. Enjoy the pics.
I thought this sign was weird. There are road signs for everything in the UK but this is the first time I have seen one for a Mormon church!
Blackpool! You can see the tower and the rollercoasters
Waving to Lee and Spencer as Kaylee walked out to the sea.
Spencers favorite saying is "hold you" whilst sticking his arm out. He loves to be held.

Southport is nice. We were thinking of living there, when we moved up north, but Simon didn't want his children to have 'scouse' accents!
