My Daughter is AMAZING!

Tonight when we went up to Kaylee's bed like we do every night but tonight was a little bit different. See every night when we take Kaylee to bed she is awake for ages. I have known for a long time that she has a little book that she loves to write in but I have never looked through the book to see what she is drawing or writing in it. I always just left her to get on with it. Well tonight she pulled the little (and I mean little) book out from under her pillow and showed Lee and I everything that was in it. See what she has been doing is keeping a picture diary of her life over the last year. Kaylee has been going to bed every night since I bought her that tiny book and drawing pictures of what has been going on during the day. We went through page by page tonight and she told us what every "picture memory", as she calls them was. I thought I would share a few of them with you. The funny thing is that I am willing to bet you will remember me blogging some of these things. Ok so here we go please know that these are in random order. In her book they are in chronological order.

Here is the Book!
Her as a cowgirl when she was riding the Horse (Obviously in the states)
Grandma and Grandad Whitfields house. I was Shocked at how accurate she is. Their house is 3 stories. I know this is a childs drawings but it looks just like their house!
She said this was the soccer ball from when we went to Grandma and Grandad Whitfields and she was going to go to her first football game with daddy and then it got cancelled and she was really sad because she didnt get to go to the football game.

This was from when she was in Nursery and had to practice writing her name. Keeping in mind that she went to Nursery when she was only 3 going on 4. I think she did a great job!
This was when we planted Sunflowers. I dont think I was blogging at this time but anyone who lives here will remember our sunflowers. She said she never wanted to forget it so she had to draw it even though it didnt happen while she had her book.
This picture was to remind her of the day she got her glasses

This was her red nose for red nose day.

This is her MP3 Player. She said she was so excited to get it that she had to draw a picture of it. Do you see the music notes all around it? OMGosh I cant believe she even knows how to draw a music note!

She wrote this so she can always remember Baby Anabell. Remember that in the UK everything is done phonetically so when Kaylee spells words it is a bit different then in the states. But considering she is only 5 I think this is really great for her.
This is the pink light up watch that Grandma Whitfield gave to her.

This is Mickey Mouse

This is her and her best friend Katie. It was cute today Katie was over and Kaylee said mommy Katie and I are best friends. Then very quietly she whispered to me, not really you are my only real best friend but Katie keeps telling me I am her best friend and I dont want her to feel bad so I am just saying it. I am pretty sure Katie could hear every word. She is my best girlfriend in the world too!!
This is her on her 6th birthday and of the 6 year old Birthday hat that she made herself. OK so I know she isnt 6 yet but she said she wants to imagine it like this and she really has made herself a 6 years old birthday hat already and she still has 6 months until her birthday!

Ok so the book has like 200 little pages in it there are so many little pictures in it. I am going to put it with her baby book. Of course that will only be after her and I go through it again tomorrow and I write down what every memory is.

Now that her little book is completely full of pictures and she has no more pages to write on. Lee and I have given her a new book. A bigger one with loads more pages in it. I think there is nothing better than for her to be keeping her own little journal even if it is a picture journal. Nearer to the end of the little book there were a lot more words. I believe that as time goes on she will be writing her feelings and memories rather than drawing them.

I LOVE YOU KAYLEE!!!

How precious that will be when she is older! Great for her to start early then she'll be in the habit at our age and maybe it won't be such a task! What a little smartie you have there!
