This morning when I was at Asda they had 200 Water Balloons for £1.00 and I thought since it was supposed to be a hot day (and thanks goodness it was. I have the tan too prove it) that we would plan a water balloon fight. Lee had to work today so while he was out for about an hour Kaylee and I filled their little (and probably too small now) Paddling pool with water and water Balloons. Spencer was having his nap so it was a bit easier and we didnt have to worry about little murder taking place all the time from Spencer to the bright little fellas.
Then Kaylee just sat in the paddling pool and waiting for him to come home. When Lee rang and said he was on his way home she got so excited we had to wake Spencer up straight away so that he could be part of the fun!
When Lee got home I shouted in to him saying we were all hanging out in the back garden. And he had no idea of what was about to happen. Im not sure that he would have appreciated having to take part of the mass murder if we had told him that was what was happening. But as soon as he walked into the backyard the murdering began. Balloons were flying all over. Even Spencer was taking part. It was so much fun. It only lasted about 10 minutes but it was the best 10 minutes of the day!
After the water balloon fight the kids and I hung out in the back yard for another couple of hours. Kaylee and I are so brown and spencer is brown as well. Luckily he burned when he was in the states and so is now just he just tans too. Arent we lucky. Tomorrow and Monday are supposed to be GORGEOUS! So we will likely be spending the whole time in the back yard again!
Anyway lets keep the Mass Murder thing on the down low. I am hoping to move back to the states soon and dont want to have to change the plans :)
