Its Official....

One of the things we had to do before our trip to the states is get Spencer his American Passport. So yesterday we took a very quick trip to London. We got to the embassy at about 8:30 and were done by 10:15. When we went with Kaylee the process was so long and drawn out it took about 4 1/2 hours. They have really done loads to speed up the process. Anyway it is now official Spencer is an American Citizen with an American Passport and a Social Security Number something which will be of much value to him in the future. I feel that our children as so lucky to have Dual Citizenship. Contrary to popular belief as well they will have Dual Citizenship their entire lives. Most people think for some reason that when the children are 18 they have to give one citizenship up but that is not the case at all. They will have both for their entire lives.

Only 3 weeks and 1 day until our trip. I am so excited I cant hardly contain myself. Kaylee is starting to get very anxious / nervous. She keeps asking silly questions like do they have toys in America, what kind of houses do they have in America, will I like the food in America, will everyone like me. One thing she is really excited for though is to see her friend little Nathan. we have some great friends who live in the states now and we are going to be seeing them while we are there and Kaylee said to me today well at least I know one thing little Nathan will still like me.I hope he still remembers her. It must be hard for her to comprehend what it is going to be like. I know when we get there and she sees her cousins and plays with them all for a few minutes she will not want to leave.... EVER. I dont blame her I know one mommy who is never going to want to leave. I am already dreaming about it and doing the whole "Next month at this time" ahhhhhhh its like a breath of fresh air!

I was talking to my sister on the phone today and we were talking about some of the things we are going to do and oh man it is going to be the best month of my life! Visiting Friends and Family, Doing the touristy things which I never did when I was living there (ie Zions, Kolob, Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, SLC church site etc) Crafting, my sister and I are going to do some much needed quilting, laughing, girly nights with all 3 of my sisters and my mom, Boating, 4 wheeling, Sun bathing, Meeting my new step father and step mother as well as 8 step brothers and sisters and their children etc etc etc! The list goes on and on. You cant tell Im excited can you?

WAHOO.... So exciting to finally meet. I do have one question and it'd be the best thing ever. Do you guys have BON BONS there? They come in like strawberry, green apple, and watermelon flavors and they are chewy yummy candy. They have like a jelly bean lookin guy on the package with a french hat on? Let me know cause I would LOVE for you to bring me some. They are my favorite and I've been craving them cause you can't get them here in the states unless you took a french class or something..

Yep, you are one excited gal! I'm jealous you get to go for so long, as we will only be over in England for 12 days. Sounds like you need longer there though to get all your plans in!
