Well Spencer had his 2 1/2 year check with the Health Visitor yesterday. This is the last check he will have with the Health Visitor. We still have one hospital appointment next month and I have a feeling the pediatrics will say that he can be released from the hospital care. As I look back on the past 2 1/2 years I cant believe all that has happen. When I look at Spencer now I still look at him like my little miracle. I dont know if this feeling will ever change. I feel so protective of him, so scared for him and yet at the same time I am excited for him and all the opportunities he is going to have throughout his life to do so much good. To be a great person. We have all been through a lot over the past 2 1/2 years, but I wouldnt change one minute of it. I think the things we have been through as a family have made us stronger. I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for giving me two of the most special spirits in existence. I dont know what I would do without my babies. Watching them grow and become their own individuals is difficult for me. I am selfish and want them to stay with me forever. But I know that with each stage in their lives will come more memories, more fun times and stronger relationships!
Ok so here are Spencers 2 1/2 year stats:
Height: 94 cm / 3 Ft 1 In
Weight: 15 KG / 33 lbs 1oz
BMI: 17
Things Spencer knows how to do:
Spencer can count to 15 on his own. He can identify the colours, Red, Blue, Yellow and Green. Spencer knows basic shapes (ie. square, circle and triangle). Spencers favorit things to do at the moment are first and most requested to play Mario Kart on the Wii! He loves to sing and play in the park. Spencer also loves to play with friends and has quiet a few of his own little friends that he asks for almost everyday including Max Jones and Sophia Robinson. Spencer is very loving and very compassionate. He is forever saying I wuv ooo Mommy and wanting to show his love by giving hugs and kisses. Spencers Favorit TV show right now is Special Agent OSO on playhouse Disney. Spencers Favorit food is any kind of meat. He will eat any meat you put infront of him. Spencers Best Friend is Definitely Kaylee. All day long he says time to get Kaylee mommy, as if to let me know incase I have forgotten to get her from school. Spencer does really well going into Nursery at church and really enjoys it FINALLY! It took a long time but it has happen! Like I said before I sure love this little boy. He is growing up too fast. I wish I could bottle him and his adorable personality up forever!

That feeling of him being your miracle never really goes. I even had that feeling about Simon on the day he got married, thinking about how he started off in life and how far he'd come. It does take them until about age 2 to 3 to catch up to where they would be if they had been born at full term. And I think it helps to make them stronger, because they have already had to fight so hard just to get where they are. Spencer is gorgeous and I love him to bits. Hope to see you all soon xxx
Spencer is such a cutie!! I'm glad to hear he is doing so well! I remember when he was born and your cell phone was bigger than him!!!
That's great that Spencer is doing so well. Looks like he's a pretty good size for his age, and so smart. I wish Gavin would eat meat - it's the one thing he won't really try (unless it's chicken nuggets). Are you guys still coming out to DC?
