Most of you will know that we live in a poor area. When we bought our house it seemed lovely. Three Bedrooms, nice size front and back gardens, big kitchen well the list goes on and on. The previous owner said to us he was a police man and that it was a nice area to live in. And we stupidly believed him. Upon moving in and over the past 4 years we have learned that what he was telling us couldnt have been further from the truth.
Kaylee's school is right down the road from us. One thing I was told from a dear friend when we moved here was let her go to this school. I thought why on earth would I do that. I dont want her anywhere near these children. Let alone making friends with them and socialising with them on a daily basis. But my friend was right. Because it is a under privileged school the government throw money at them left right and center. Which leads me to the purpose of todays blog entry.
Kaylees school has recently been rebuilt, on the same grounds, just a bit further up in the field. The other day I received a letter from her school saying "Join us for a celebration Breakfast." All week I have been thinking to myself oh man I really dont want to go, but Kaylee gets really upset if I dont go because some (I say some because most cant be bothered. When the kids are at school it is the only safe time to inject substances into their bodies without the children seeing) of the moms and dads went and I didnt. I have always been there. That is my job that is why I stay home so I can be at important events. So this morning I turned up at the school and said to Miss Davies (her lovely teacher, no seriously that isnt sarcastic she really is lovely) Should I just take Kaylee into the hall for the breakfast since it is first thing. She said well actually the breakfast isnt for the children it is just for the adults. She said you really dont have to go if you dont want to. See Miss Davies and I have an understanding. Neither of us is from around here and we have secret code talk so to speak. If Miss Davies says you dont need to go because the children arent going to be there then I know what she really means is dont waste your time going.
I thought what no children are there? Do you have any idea what this is going to turn into in this neighbor hood? Seriously. I hope the police are there just to "enjoy" the atmosphere. It will be like a local soup kitchen. You will have adults of all ages there who never even finished Primary school. It will be like a massive school reunion for the under privileged, the desirless, ambitionless, drug addicts of Wigan. In fact I can imagine what would have happen. Sally would have rang Jane who would have rang Christine who would have rang Mavis all to say there is Free Food on at the Primary school. Sally would have taken her 10 children, all under the age of 4 and not about to go to primary school yet (she has 10 because she has 4 of her own, and 6 step children from her 5 different partners.) Jane would have taken her partner and their 3 children. Christine would have gotten her supply of "secret" drugs together and Mavis well she would have just come herself. They would all show up piled their plates high with food, except Christine of course, the drugs dont make her hungry, and joined in with the other 386 people from around the area who found out there was Free Breakfast at the school. The word would get out (via whispers) that Christine has the lottery tickets (that is secret code you see) and then they would have slowly all gotten high one at a time until finally the police would have to kick everyone out but not arrest anyone because they have better things to do then to arrest a few Marsh Greeners for taking a few not too harmful but still illegal drugs. Then everyone would go on their merry way until 2pm when the kids finish school.
Did I go to the breakfast after Miss Davies said the kids werent going to be there..... What do you thin?
Of course I wanted to partake of the Lottery Tickets too.

You do know that those are the same people who would've voted for Obama, too, had they been American. Free stuff doesn't help people.
