Kaylee Makes Honor Roll

Last week I had a meeting with Kaylees teacher to discuss the possibility of having her held back in school one year for social reasons. The Principal, School Counsellor and Teacher were all there. They explained to me that holding her back would be more detrimental to her than letting her progress to the 4th grade. Luckily Kaylee has started to make good friends here and is really getting into the swing of things.

She kind of has her face covered with both her certificates. :)
During the meeting the teacher explained to me that because of her grades Kaylee had made the honor roll for the past 6 week period and would be receiving a special award. Kaylee is awesome. She has had to go through so much these past few months including moving country, making new friends at church and school, learning the new cirriculum and learning to deal with a very serious heart problem which means her being on medication the rest of her life. The medication of which has terrible side effects and yet through al of this Kaylee still is just a happy girl. She is helpful and always concerned for others. And she is getting amazing grades in school. We are so proud of her.
