Civil War Reenactment

Lee and I are always looking for new and fun things to do with the children. This last week I received an email from the Relief Society Presidency with a list of things to do in our County. So I was looking through the various websites and found that one of the places was doing Civil War reenactments this weekend. The place is really awesome. There are a bunch of homes from the early 1800's which have all been moved to one community and are open to the public sort of like a big museum. There were people dressed up in period costumes and of course the reenactment. Even when we left the children were saying how "cool" it was. Plus there were some beautiful places to take pictures. I think we will go back again and take a bunch of shots of the children. We need new photos.
