Monkey Forest - 2011

Now that Lee's brother Simon and his wife Lisa have children we have been wanting to spend a little more time with them so that the kids can play and get to know their cousins a bit better. We wanted to get together over the weekend and thought it would be nice to meet up somewhere half way between here (Tamworth) and there (Rossendale Valley). I remember going to the Monkey Forest a few years ago and how much our children loved it then (here is my post from 2009 when we went. Man I cant believe how little Spencer was then and how much he has changed)so we decided that we could meet up there, have a picnic and then enjoy some time together either in the lovely gardens or with the monkeys. The monkeys won over the gardens. It was such a lovely day and it was so much fun to watch all the children play together. We just Love Faith and Lewis to bits and are so happy to have them as our cousins now. The kids in particular LOVE having cousins here in the UK. They ask once a week if we can go and see their cousins. So I think we will have to meet up more for little days out like this because it is so much fun! Here are some, ok a bunch, of the pictures! If you are in the UK I would HIGHLY recommend the Monkey Forest. It is such a fantastic day out not to expensive and just sucha great experience for the children.I said to the kids to make funny Faces!
I seriously LOVE this picture

Family Shot! One of the many benefits of going with people is they can take a family shot!

All the cousins. Siena loves Faith. She makes her laugh all the time!

It is amazing to me how human like the monkeys are.
Beautiful little girl!
I wanted to get Kaylee's feet in the picture so you could see just how close the monkeys were to us.
Spencer, Lewis and Kaylee (Kaylee was being a monkey she didnt want to look at the camera)
