Kaylee Turns 7

On the 15th of December Kayleee had her seventh birthday. It was a day of reflection for me. Im pretty sure its not just me but everytime one of my children has a birthday The whole day, or for days in advance in Kaylee's case, I think oh man seven years ago at this time. I also found myself thinking back on the past seven years and wondering where on earth the time has gone? It seems like just yesterday she was Sienas age and I was rocking her in the rocking chair crying quietly to myself tear of joy at being a mother to such a special child. Over the past seven years Kaylee has brought so much joy to my life. I wont lie at times she is a monkey. But most the time Kaylee is sweet, loving, generous, kind, helpful and just an enjoyable little girl to be around. I love her more today then I did the day she was born and with each day my love for her grows.

Next year Kaylee will be baptised. I am certain that I will blubber then just like I did the many times when I was holding her in my arms as a little baby. I know that it wont be long until she hits the teenage years and then becomes a beautiful woman and has children of her own. Until then it is my goal to make her life the best it can be. I want her to have the best childhood with fantastic opportunities so that she can never say I wish I would have or could have.

Kaylee someday I am sure you will read this post and I am certain when the time comes I will love you more then than I do at this moment. I want you to know how much you mean to me. You are one of my very best friends. I cherish every minute I spend with you. I am so grateful that heavenly Father allowed me to be your mommy and that we will be together forever in the eternities no doubt as best friends just like we are now. I love you princess! You are beautiful and you will always, no matter how old you are, be my little princess. The same child I held in my arms 7 years ago crying tears of joy because I was chosen to be your mother. I love you baby!

Sea of cakes. Kaylee wanted me to make Chcolate Cupcakes for her class for her bday. Of course I did it. It was her birthday she gets whatever she wants!

Kaylee's favorite cake is a profiterol cake. When I asked what kind of cake she wanted me to make she got a cheeky grin on her face and asked if we could buy one of these. ARE YOU KIDDING!!! YES PLEASE! It made my job so much easier!
Her Birthday dinner of her choice.... Homemade Pizza with ham and sweetcorn.
She got her Nintendo DSi for her birthday. When she opened it she straight away gave it a huge hug. I think she liked it ;)
