This morning Kaylee started at her new school. One here in Amington. I was so nervous for her. She is a very sensitive girl and just like any mother when she is hurt or something bothers her than I am hurt and the things bother me. She wasnt scared at all. In fact she got up at 6 am this morning and straight away asked if she could get her new uniform on.... that will change soon enough. We got to her school went into the office and said goodbye to each other. Then the receptionist took her to her class and my anxiety began. You know looking at my phone every 1/2 hour, watching the clock and wondering non stop how she was doing. Finally at 2:45 it was time to go and pick her up from school, she finishes at the weird time on 3:10, so Spencer and I hopped in the car went to school, were the first parents there, and stood right in front waiting for her. When she came running out she had the biggest smile on her face and threw her arms aound me. Phew relief, I love hugs from my babies! She had a fantastic Day. Miss Dixon her teacher said she was a little nervous at first and hung around the teachers at playtime for the first little while but soon came out of her shell and seemed to have fun playing with the other children. When I asked Kaylee what she did today she said: I didnt have to write! That was one thing she got so bored at doing in Marsh Green. She said she made daisy chains with some other little girls, played with Play Doh in class, read to the teacher a number of books until they found what her reading level was, She played in a play house in the classroom and on the computers. It sounds like she had a fantastic day. So much so that she cant wait until tomorrow to go back. Which makes a nice change to Marsh Green. I am so happy that she had such a great day. My childrens happiness is so important to me and this was a hurdle for me to get across. Yay for Florendine Primary School and all the nice children and staff there!

OH, I'm so glad she had a great first day! It must be scary to move so far along in the year, but it sounds like she is doing so well already! and p.s. I can't believe spencer is 3!!!!!! I still remember visiting him in the hospital when he was mobile phone size!!! Where has the time gone?!?
I'm so glad she had a great start there and that she made friends already. The thought of Bevan starting preschool fills me with dread, hopefully it'll be as good as an experience for him as it is for Kaylee!
I am soo glad she enjoyed it! And I am sure she is looking forward to school again tomorrow! I can not believe how big they are getting standing in front of that tree you all look soo happy! Thanks for the update I have been worried about her!
Love you all! - Misty
