Todays Topic was Do you Like Mothers Day Why or Why Not...... I love Mothers Day. I love being able to celebrate being a mother, a woman, a sister and a friend. I dont think that mothers day is only about mothers but I also feel that mothers day is about those special women who have made a difference in your life. I have a sister in law who every year on mothers day is devistated because she doesnt yet have any children and though this bothers her very badly I wish that she could see that mothers day isnt about having given birth to children yet it is a time to celebrate special women. She is a great teacher, wife, sister and friend and it is those things that she should be celebrating. I think it is important to take one day out of the year to remember and acknowledge the great women around us. So as this weekend is Mothers Day I want to take this opportunity to say a few thank you's.
First to my mom: One of my best friends in the whole world. I love you! Thank you for always being there for me. For knowing exactly what it is that I need. For knowing when I need a phone call a hug or a kick in the butt. For always having faith in me that I would make the right choices in life. For teaching me that I am a Daughter of God. For loving me unconditionally. For just being you. I love everything about you, your faults and your strengths have all taught me something and for that I am so grateful! i love you with all my heart more than you can ever comprehend.
To My Sisters. Where do I begin? We have been through so much in the past 30 years. I wouldnt want to change anything about the past 30 years either. I would relive each moment again and again as long as I had each of you around me. We have shared so much, clothes, boys, rooms, secrets, sorrows and pains, joys and triumphs. I am so glad that we are an eternal family and that I get you three to spend forever with. I wouldnt want to spend forever with any other sisters. I love you three more than words can or ever will explain! Thank you for just being you. For loving me unconditionally for being there for me when I needed it the most. And for being my Best friends in the world. I look forward to the next million years as long as I have each of you to share every second with!
To My Mother In Law and Sister In laws: Thank you for accepting me in as one of your family members. Susan you have always shown nothing but love for me. You have all accepted me right from the beginning and I appreciate your love and acceptance more than you know. I could not have asked to marry into a better family.
To My friends. I cant thank you enough for your love and support. For your phone calls when I have needed to just talk. For our "girly days" when I have needed them. For just being you. For knowing how to be great friends. I am so grateful for each of you because I honestly believe that I would not be the person I am today without each of your friendship. I look forward to our friendships continuing to grow.
And lastly to one of the most important girls in my life... My Daughter. I love you. You are my best girlfriend in the world... Wait in the universe. I am so glad that Heavenly Father has blessed me with you as my special little girl. I would do anything for you as long as it guaranteed your happiness. You are the light of my life you and your brother make me the happiest woman around. I hope you know how much I love you and that will never change no matter what life brings. We must continue to do anything and everything we can so that we can be a celestial family and you can be mine forever. I cant imagine one second in eternity without you. I love you!! xxooxx
