Its Official I am OLD!

So when I was growing up I used to remember thinking that people in their 30's were so OLD!! I remember looking at my mom and dad and thinking oh my heck I am never going to be that old. Well today I am that old. I turned 30. No longer can I say I am in my 20's. Do I mind.... No I dont actually. But I do think that now that I am 30 I wont be rushing time any longer. Up until this last year I used to always up my age to my next birthday. When I was 28 I would always say Im going to be 29. Even at the beginning of 29 I was like yeah Im going to be 30. For some reason I thought that being a little older would be cool, maybe get me more respect from people who thought I didnt know what I was talking about because I was a punk kid (yep a punk kid even at 28) Now that I am 30 I am in no rush to be telling people I will be 31 on my next birthday. I asked Kaylee last night how old she thought I was going to be and she said well you are 29 so you are going to be 30... that is old mommy. So to my 5 year old I am old. To my Sisters, Friends and Dear Husband I am only in my early 30's which is not old at all and to my parents (whom might I add are very young themselves, my mom 47 and my dad only just turned 50 3 weeks ago) I am a spring Chicken. To my grandparents I am still a child. It is all about perspective. To me I am still the same old Alisha Nelson..... I mean Whitfield that I was 10 years ago but with a bit more life experience, an amazing husband, 2 fantastic children, loads of extra brothers and sister (we have had a few weddings in the last 10 years) and some new AMAZING Friends!! To which I love you all dearly! Thanks for making my 30th so Fantastic.
Here are a few pictures from various times in my life, I dont have many here in England. My mom has loads at home but there are the only ones I have here. Plus I was being to lazy to scan the pictures in and took them with my camera! So the quality isnt that great! Is it laziness or is it the aching in my bones, or the fact that now that I am 30 my memory is gone and I cant remember how to use the scanner and since my 5 year old, who knows all there is to know about computers man that younger generation are smart, is in bed?

18 Months old
About 8 years old Im in the Blue Pants, For anyone who knows my sisters, Desserae is next to me in the black pants and Red top and Misty is two over from her in the white top and purple pants.

Happy Birthday. 30 is most definitely not old. Look on the positive side. You insurance rates should have dropped a little now that you're an old and wiser and safer driver. The numbers of age don't bother me, just the reflection in the mirror that looks back at me. How vain of me?! You, on the other hand, look gorgeous. Just enjoy it, it's going to happen whether you want it to or not, so suck all the good out of it you can.
