Cheeky Monkey

Yesterday I took the kids to a play place. Kaylee always has fun at playmates they do an exercise time where they dance and sing etc it is really good. One of the dances was with a monkey song so all the kids put monkey masks on and danced around. I thought I would post a picture of my cheeky monkey. I thought I would define Cheeky Monkey for all my fellow american friends but it is a phrase which is very hard to define. So I looked it up on the British to American dictionary (yes there is such a thing) and here is what is says: "Cheeky - "Eee you cheeky monkey" was what my mother said to me all the time when I was a kid. Cheeky means you are flippant, have too much lip or are a bit of a smart arse! Generally you are considered to be a bit cheeky if you have an answer for everything and always have the last word." People call children cheeky monkeys all the time here. It is cute, not disrespectful... well I dont think it is. It is always said kind of playing! xx
