When I was growing up a number of us (there are 7 so a number is not an exaggeration, infact my 10 year old brother probably still does this) use to mix our corn and mashed potatoes together. Something I dont enjoy doing anymore. My grown up taste buds dont think it is as amazing as it used to be. But oddly my daughter has over the past few months started to do the same with her corn and mashed potatoes. What is the obsession? Is this just a childhood thing. The worst part is when Kaylee says mommy I made a corn and potato pie for you here have a bite. sjdhfjsfsjbf that is the noise that must come out of my mouth every time I have to have a bite. After that horrendous noise I then smile and tell her what a great cook she is. I just hope that no one else ever has to experience Kaylee's corn and mashed potato pie. xx
